On a normal Wednesday good afternoon , Kayla Filoon stopped by the Philadelphia municipal creature tax shelter to walk dog . That daylight , the young Temple University student come across Russ , a stray pit bull who was very down and out .
The whelp was suffering from a bleeding tail , optic infection , itchy skin , kennel cough , and hungriness . But , even with all that , Kayla gravitated toward him . She stated that he looked at her as if he know she’dbe his ma someday .
Kayla took the prison term to get to know Russ and rapidly fall in love life . She spent the day walking Russ and playing with him in the tax shelter yard . She gave him treats , and he gave her snuggle . Kayla live on home to tell her friends and her mummy about the dog .

The next day , she return to the shelter to take Russ out for a trip . She assume him for a ride in the car , and bought him special treats from Chick - fil - A. While Russ ate on her lap , they listen to the radio and the song “ A Sky Full of hotshot ” come on .
When Kayla heard the words , “ Cause you ’re a sky full of stars , I ’m gon na give you my heart , ” she shout out . She have sex Russ was meant to be her dog . She promptly tug Russ back to the shelter , and applied to take over him .
She adopt himonly a few weeks ago , but the pair is already inseparable . Russ loves nothing more than to cuddle with Kayla to show his affection and gratitude .
