Meagan Thomas , community outreach manager at Wake County Animal Center , says that being a municipal adeptness , this was n’t the protection ’s first experience with farm animal . However , it was their first experience housing such a unequaled bonded pair .
" When they separated Cinnamon from Felix , [ Cinnamon ] was lose her nous , " Thomas tells Daily Paws . " We learned from the proprietor and the owner ’s category that they were passing bonded and kind of did everything together . "
When the duo first arrived on scene , Thomas say they stayed in a kennel with a guillotine - manner doorway , allow them to be together during the Clarence Day . The shelter ’s stave wanted to be conservative and sure the two were genuinely bonded , so they still hold back the pair disjoined during meal and sleeping times . It did n’t take long for staff to confirm these two truly adore each other — and Thomas say they now do almost everything together .

Just like any other animal admirer , the dynamic distich loves to drop time playing together in the protection ’s play yard — but with their own unique playing style .
" I ’m not a Capricorn expert , but Cinnamon will do these sort of bunny binkies when she feed and she ’ll kind of jump in the gentle wind and kick her metrical unit out , " Thomas says . " They ’ll just run around together and kind of physical structure - happen each other . "
Aside from play , the pair savor another favourite joint activity : napping .
While the dearest between these two animate being clearly goes both ways , Thomas says Cinnamon is slightly more attached to independent pup Felix . While Felix , an " all around good firedog , " enjoy spending time forth from the Capricorn the Goat with both people and other dogs , Cinnamon seems to only enjoy the party of her dogtooth BFF .
" With Cinnamon , she is extremely bonded to Felix . If she is n’t with him , she is very upset , " Thomas says . " I do n’t require to say she shout , but like the caprine animal combining weight . She ’s very striking . "
Cinnamon is so affiliated to the pup she ’ll often seek to jump up and peek over the kennel at him , and she ’ll immediately pull in to see him when walk on a leash .
" Even though [ Felix ] seems to adore her , he has an easier metre hanging out with mass and doing his own matter , " Thomas sound out . " She does n’t seem to be very citizenry oriented . She is very much like , ' I got my andiron and that ’s all I need . ' "
Being a municipal protection , Wake County does n’t have a lot of control when it come to bonded pairs being adopted together , Thomas articulate . However , the staff knew this distich was particular , want to keep them together and find a family well suit for caring for both heel and goat . They engage service from their rescue partner who could potentially help keep the duo together , and theMr . Mo Projectagreed to take them in — find a set foster home ( one Wake County Animal Center had used in the past ) for Felix and Cinnamon .
Wake County Animal Center announced onFacebookWednesday that the dyad has officially been dramatise — where they ’ll soon be frolicking together at their forever home , a local farm , later on this week .
