There ’s believably a cow in the road or something , ’ ” she articulate . “ As we get closer , we see this little click chasing the cars , seek to get their aid , and alternate up on the side of the cars as they go by . So , the cars slack down , but they keep work . ”
The couple decided to serve and slowed down . Sure enough , the small black - and - white domestic dog take off to run alongside their car . They pulled into a main road disengagement . “ We did n’t know what was go to happen next , but we knew we had to get her off the highway , ” Jones enunciate .

Then , the forgivingness of the universe issue forth into manoeuvre . “ Our hotel countenance us cancel last - minute so we could channel to a dog - friendly hotel , ” Jones says . Then the brace headed to Bozeman , where Kendall had a writing gig . They were book at a non - pet favorable hotel and could n’t cancel the reservation , but they ascertain a nearby kennel that could take the dog on poor notification .
