Once outside , Moses ' first thought was to save his barker .
" I shout out at my neighbor to get a ladder . I put it up on a 2d - account roof , broke the windows , render to go in , and there was Mary Jane everywhere , " Moses told KDKA .
Unable to line up his best friend , Moses felt helpless .

When firefighters make it , they find Diego on the floor of one of the sleeping accommodation . They rapidly convey the pup out of doors and began giving himoxygento recover from the smoke . After a few feverish minutes , Diego awoke . KDKA reported the pooch was a bit shaky on his feet but very much alive .
" Everything else can be replaced , " Moses told KDKA . " My dog ’s OK . That ’s all that counts . "
