Stephanie Woodward and Ryan Chalmers have had a crazy first few days of wedding . On Friday , minute before their wedding party ceremony in Rochester , N.Y. , their Canis familiaris Rocky run away from one of their groomsmen .

Rocky , a 2 - year - old Alaskan Klee Kai , wriggled out of his collar after he make it at the venue with the groomsman . Woodward and Chalmers had split off from their nuptial company to take photos at a final localization . " It sounds like he just did n’t know where we were and he wanted to be with us , " Woodward say .
When Woodward and Chalmers arrived at the church , they saw everyone out of doors and were extremely confused . They puzzle out of the car and heard that Rocky had prevail off . " We got in our wheelchair and Ryan go left and I went in good order and in our full wedding attire just come out search for our dog , " Woodward read .

" We got get hitched with as quickly as we could , fed our guest as fast as possible , and changed out of our marriage ceremony clothes so that we could go back out and wait for Rocky , " Woodward sound out .

" We did n’t want that to be the floor of our wedding , so we ’re just so well-chosen to have him back so we can eventually start to celebrate our lives together , " Chalmers says .
