A heroic dog carry closely four miles to get help after their owner ’s truck plummeted into a ravine Sunday , according to a press going published by the Baker County Sheriff ’s Office .
Brandon Garrett of Halfway , Oregon , and his four dogs weretraveling north on U.S. Forest Service Road 39on Sunday , June 2 , in Oregon ’s Baker County when Garrett lose ascendency of his fomite and break down off the route into a riverside below .

fortunately , one of Garrett ’s pup have it off just what to do . After buy the farm the vehicle , Garrett ’s dog Blue traveled nearly four miles overnight to where Garrett ’s fellowship was worryingly hold off at their campsite . From there , Blue and Garrett ’s family members trek back to the scene of the wreck to place Garrett ’s truck and call for assistance . Due to the jumpy terrain , household members were unable to strain Garrett and the clank site themselves .
But thanks to Blue ’s heroic actions , Garrett and his three other weenie were found alert in the " steep , brushy ravine " by the Baker County Sheriff ’s Office , Baker County Search and Rescue , Pine Valley Rural Fire District , and Halfway Ambulance on the morning of Monday , June 3 . Two of the dogs suffered a few broken bones but are expected to be okay . Garrett was lift by helicopter to a hospital in Idaho and was subsequently released . He is " screw up but recovering,“according to his comrade .
No picture have been release of the dogs yet , but Blue and Garrett ’s other dogs are said to bepit bull mixes , accord to an single close to the kinsperson . Not a surprise , as we hump anotherpit bullwho flagged down help from a passer and saved his possessor ’s lifejust a few years ago .
