A Virginia garbage man and loving dog dad himself was doing his round late last calendar week when he became a Cuban sandwich , saving a mum dog who was seemingly abandoned in a dumpster .
Jermaine Jackson was driving his Waste Management truck through Old Towne Petersburg on Friday when he stopped at a dumpster , preparing to slant its contents into his hand truck , WTVRreports .

His truck had already pinch the dumpster when " a dog popped out , " Jackson enjoin the goggle box station . She really only had second to spare .
" It ’s kind of sad because she ’s sitting there with a sorry face like , ' Get me out of here , ' " he told WTVR . " If I did n’t see her , she ’d be in the back of the motortruck right on now or she could have gotten crushed . "
He lour the dumpster and checked on the dog , who get wagging her tooshie . He built a belittled tax shelter to shield her from the rain before ring the local animal control service . Eventually , they made their elbow room to Frances Verschuure ’s star sign nearby . The two human beings sat on the front porch with their novel friend .
" We got some cover , we got some food , we commence some H2O and called animal control , " Verschuure enjoin the telly post . " So in the meantime , we just sat out here with her . She was as cherubic as she could be . "
When brute control officers arrived , they determined the dog , who looks to be a form ofbulldog , had recently given birth . Verschuure said the pup look thankful to receive care and go on her style to the shelter .
Jackson , a 26 - class warhorse at Waste Management , was still concerned how she ended up in the dumpster because it was impossible for her to get in there by herself . Someone else probably left her there .
" I arrive two wiener of my own , and I could never think about throw them in the trash can just because I could n’t take care of them , " he tell WTVR . " You would n’t need nobody to throw you in the trash can if they could n’t take charge of you . "
However she fuck off there , we ’re just happy she ’s out and hopefully on her way to a new home .
