Thankfully , some creature law enforcement officers from theHumane Society of the Pikes Peak Regionarrived at the scene Dec. 1 . And with some adopt mountaineering supplies , they were able to take out Jessie Lee to safety .

" We did n’t know how long she was going to remain up there on her own , " Cody Costra , spokesman for the humane society , differentiate Daily Paws .

As described on the humane society’sFacebook page , Officers Elizabeth Barker and Evan Johnson arrived at the creek after a local business proprietor had seen what he thought was an fauna on the drop-off . Using opera glasses , the officer could see Jessie Lee .
