That ’s exactly what happen in the tiny hamlet of Jacksonboro , S.C. , on June 21 , when Colleton County Fire - Rescue was called toa structure fire . A yard ice fire had disperse to a wooden storage construction .

" As they were working , [ firefighters ] could get word whine coming from the building , " Chief Barry McRoy tells Daily Paws . " The bodily structure was built raise off the ground . Once the flack was out , they were able to expect under the body structure and that ’s when they found the puppy . "

" I wound up taking them home with me , " she tell Daily Paws . " My heart could n’t give birth the thought of them in a kennel all night , so I brought them home , give them all a good bath and kept them warm . "
The puppy were extremely dirty and overcompensate in soot , but the experience had otherwise left them unhurt . In the break of the day , Preacher transported them to Animal Services , where they were examined and then transferred to a local animal shelter that commit animals in surrogate homes .
Within 24 hours , Preacher report card , two of the puppy had already been adopted .
