It was quite a journeying , but thankfully all ended well for this sweet ( and very lucky ) pussycat .

A kitten looking for a place to curl up and nap wound up take a route tripper directly to her perpetually home .

Jackie Sanderson of Cumberland County , Penn . , was get her girl to school when she heard foreign sounds follow from the front of her Hyundai Entourage minivan . She turned the radio down , ab initio thinking that ’s where the noises were fare from , but continue to get wind … something . After listening more closely , she realise there was a cat meowing in her engine bay!Pulling her auto off to the side of the road , Sanderson begin look for the kitten , even levy some passersby to help in the search .

" We could n’t see the qat anywhere , we just heard meows,“she told WPMT . " Another gentlewoman hail with some tuna to try on and tempt it out , but that did n’t act either . "

uncertain of how to proceed and concerned about the kitten ’s upbeat , Sanderson called the Camp Hill Police Department , which complete Officer Tricia Moench .

Sanderson and Moench called some local repair shop to see if anyone could help oneself extract the kitten , eventually settling on taking the Entourage to the Goodyear Tire Service in Lemoyne . There , mechanic Kevin Howell and a couple of his coworkers managed to finally lie eyes on the 8 - calendar week - old black kitten that had snuggled up in Sanderson ’s engine true laurel . “We put the elevator car higher up in the aura and shined flashlights up inwardly and I saw her , so we put the car down and someone at long last got a hold of her , " Howell tell WPMT.Once extract from the locomotive alcove , the kitty was placed in a carrier and Howell has since assume her , naming her Gabby .
