By definition , a surprise comes when you least expect it ! Some surprise are fun , thrilling even , but others are not expected or welcomed . year ago , I received one of the unwelcome sort with one of my hot dog , June . To say that June was playful was an understatement ! She was a vibrant , boisterous little dachshund who shared my love for hike , swimming , and doing anything outside .
Earlier in her sprightliness , June had been as fearless as she was unflagging — always eager to take the air that special mile , swim that surplus lap , start a little higher , and do a little more … until it began pose her wellness at risk of exposure .
