Chris and Liz are favorite parents to Cooper and Bella , two little stray dogs who were found wandering on a busy main road somewhere in between Las Vegas and LA . The pups were so close to running out of time at the municipal pounding where they were being hold that Liz read the heel " were literally hours off from being euthanized . " It was kismet then whenAce of Hearts Dog Rescuestepped in to save the dogs and help them find out their forever home .
Liz tells Daily Paws that the timing of the yoke ’s rescue was nothing brusk of a miracle . The family had just moved to the U.S. about a year sooner , and each day her twin boys had been ask for a doggy to play with . She was browsing the Internet when Cooper ’s face seem . She read the 1 - year - olddachshund / Jack Russell terriermix — and his mystifying - brown eyes " with so much love to give"—would fill the vacuum in their family line . After a visit with the whelp at hisfoster home , the boys were rapturous about finding their novel best supporter … but there would be even more excitement to descend !
After their initial meeting , the family knew Cooper was the unadulterated fit . But when Cooper ’s surrogate mom told Liz he ’d been found at a pounding with another dachshund — both of whom had been in danger of being euthanized — Liz know she needed to meet Bella , as well . It was love at first sight , and Chris enjoin watching the two dogs play together sealed the great deal .
Both hounds came home with them , and five year later on , the bonded pair has blossomed into confident , hilarious passion bugs ! The boy have sex playing with the dogs , and the whole bunch enjoyshiking the area trailstogether and visits to the domestic dog park . " Bella and Cooper complete our family . We ’re lucky to have them , " Chris says .
Even though they did n’t plan on bring home two dogs , Liz says it was a natural conniption for their family . " They ’re lucky dogs , and we ’re lucky humans . " We could n’t agree more !
