Judy adopted Ricochet , a very talentedgolden retriever , when she was just a puppy . At only 8 week , the pupper start on top of a boogie board in a kiddie syndicate . Surprised at her heavy equalizer , Judy knew Ricochet had something limited . Little did she know this incredible weenie would learn to surf , and in the process , assist children and veteran take to the sea and get the healing power of the pee .
After that initial kiddie syndicate experience , Judy taught Ricochet the way of the waves . Now , 13 year later , Ricochet has become an avid surfer who takes pride in being one of the OG surf dogson the beach !

As a dog - handler team , Judy and Ricochet met an adaptative surfboarder in 2009 . Judy thought that convey both Ricochet and the petty male child on their surfboard would show them each what they have in common . After catching a few waves on their board , Ricochet decide to skip over on his plug-in to ride some waves together ! Judy tell it was from that moment on she get it on that Ricochet was made to help bring pleasure and healing to other people ’s lives through surfriding .
Even though Ricochet is a very special dog ( with some incredible skills ) , she still loves doing unconstipated doggy activities when she ’s not surfing . In fact , when she ’s not on her board catching a waving , the pooch is often find out dog gophers , squirrel , seagulls , and even her frump sibling , Corey . But for the most part , Judy says Ricochet enjoys combining her surfboard talents with her ability tohelp others in motivation . What a good little girl !
