Holly Brookhouser was frequent for market when she randomly check her Facebook . It was there she recognise a post about a fluffyblack kittenfrom another Arkansas resident physician nearby .

Only 15 minute later , Brookhouser picked up the bantam cat , who is now named Appleseed . Since then , Appleseed has greatly improved ( no more fleas ! ) and is cook to go to her lasting house .
No Stranger to Strange Kittens
The little kitty lucked out when Brookhouser recognise her photo . The beast buff has been work with deliver animals since 2010 . Since then , she ’s gone from volunteering at a shelter to deal turn as a " foster parent " for both kittens and dogs . At the time she saw the Facebook berth about Appleseed , Brookhouser say she was taking a break from fostering after deliver two back to back rounds of kittens . But the flossy feline tugged on her heartstrings , and she quickly got to work .

On the car drive household , Appleseed curled up on Brookhouser ’s shoulder , where she promptly fell asleep . “ She was plain exhausted from … whatever she had been through , ” she says .
When Brookhouser first picked up Appleseed , she say the kitten was covered in fleas and noticeablyunderweight . During her time with the Brookhousers , who also become byPaws of Oz on Instagram , the kitten has made a full recovery — and is starting to show off a sassy personality for their following . “ She ’s just so hardy , ” Brookhouser says . “ She walk around this house like she owns it . ”
A Future Filled With Love
The Brookhousers — who have three domestic dog , five cats ( including another rescue cat they ’re foster ) , a Erinaceus europeaeus , and a coney — only have a few week left with Appleseed before she operate to her forever home . The kitten hasalready been adoptedby a family line in California , who is flying to Arkansas at the commencement of November to pick her up . “ They have fallen in erotic love with her , ” Brookhouser say .
