How better to celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Month than with some very sweet exposure ?
Adam Goldberg is hoping to change a few minds with his photos — or at least make people think twice before judging pit bull - type dogs .
The Tampa , Fla. , photographer has spent component of the past several long time capturing joyful portrayal of Inferno bulls and their owners . The freehanded - mouthed hotdog are smiling , as are the humans — if they are n’t bestowing kisses on furry bonce .

The photograph exemplify how we all feel about our dogs , and that ’s Goldberg ’s degree : Despite the stereotype as violent , grievous dog , American orchestra pit bull terriersare fabulous , loyal favorite .
" It ’s just stone bulls and their owner having a rattling clip together . It can only better their reputation , unlike some of the intelligence stories you take heed on the local news , " Goldberg enjoin Daily Paws .

" search at her body , she just looked like she had been through hell , " Camacho says .
Kimber initially ride out at a rescue , but , like great deal of other dog , she was so shy that she went overlooked at adoption events . Camacho eventually assume her . Kimber might be shy , but once you ’re hers , you ’re hers perpetually , her owner says .
" You just have to meet them , " Camacho say . " They ’re just like mass . You ’ve got to give everyone a chance . "

That extends to dogs who were antecedently involved indogfighting , too . Goldberg has photographed those survivors — perhaps including Kimber , who Camacho suspects was used as abait dogwhen she was a puppy .
" You would think that they would have this ire toward man based on what they were force to do , and they ’re just not , " he says . " It ’s not the case . "
Yet , he still speak with pit bull parents who see people frustrate the street to forfend their frankfurter . It ’s why they come in for portraiture : to show their dogs are nothing to be scared of .
