But sometimes even the best laid plan go awry , and today it is this poor beau ’s number to be wedgied by fate . As he slant down to grab the pup , his heart of gravitational attraction goes too far over the edge and he finds himself falling , Micheal Scott - style , into the water .
Thankfully , it ’s a minute everyone can express mirth off almost right away . The doggo is hunky-dory , pick up by the gentleman and deposited back on the deck , and the man himself is much soggier but no worse for the wear . He speedily go up out of the pool and the camera Pan back slightly to uncover a char on the other side of the fence , who is almost sure as shooting giving him a blue ribbing over his not - so - elegant surrender into the drink .
And really , that ’s the best matter we can take from a video like this , which has earned more than 4.9 million views so far . It ’s effective for a flying gag , and everyone walks away happy and sizable , if slightly more dampish than when they started . ( And peradventure a wee bit more careful around the pool . )
