The country ’s most telling heel will come back to New York ’s Madison Square Garden in 2025 for the 149th Westminster Dog Show , give by Purina Pro Plan .

Madison Square Garden is the original house of the Westminster Dog Show , but due to the preponderance of COVID-19 in New York City as well as scheduling conflicts , the event was wedge to find a novel host location for the past four years . Thehistoric Lyndhurst mansionin Terrytown , N.Y. , host America ’s most prestigious dog show in2021and2022before the result was relocated once again to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens for the2023and2024dog show .
Westminster Week will commence on Saturday , Feb. 8 , 2025 , with legerity competitor at the Jacob K. Javits Center , located just down the block from Madison Square Garden . The cad show will take place the follow Monday and Tuesday in the main arena , with Best in Show to be foretell the eve of Tuesday , Feb. 11 .
Westminster Kennel Club also announced the show’s2025 judging panelthis calendar week , including the evaluator appointed to prefer Best in Show : Paula Nykiel of Washington , Mo. Nykiel is a veteran stock breeder and proprietor - manager , peculiarly ofpointers , and transition to judging in 1990 .

As an adjudicator , Nykiel has label 33 home specialty in the sporting , hound , and solve groups both nationally and overseas . In 2023 , she received the " Judge of the Year " honor in the 2023 Show Dogs of the Year Awards .
