Last year , aspecial needs dognamed Zeeky was rescue after being abuse and abandoned . Now after months of recuperation , the smiley pup is now as well-chosen as can be and inspiring others through hisInstagramhe shares with his other disabled pet siblings .
When saver discover Zeeky in a distant domain on the Caribbean island of Curacao , he was extremely underweight and missing theatrical role of his hind legs . After taking him to the vet , they observe the abandoned puppy was only 8 months sometime and had been intentionally mutilate . In addition to his injuries , the pooch was also suffering from advancedtick diseaseand scabies .

When Debbie Pearl , the founder ofDream Fetchers : Project Rescue , a non - profit animal rescue organization , first learned about Zeeky and his tragic narrative , she says there was no turn back . As a favored parent to multiple handicapped rescue hot dog , she make out she had the skills and resources needed to serve the young pup recover .
Once Zeeky began his recovery at hisfoster homein Curacao , Pearl says his personality alternate almost immediately . The pup , who at first was scared of human touch after being rescued , began to show show heart and excitement after just a few day in the sexual love and care of his foster home .
" He ’s very thankful , " Pearl narrate Daily Paws . " I think everything is awful to him because he had nothing . "

Ten weeks after she first heard about Zeeky , he was ready for the next stage of his recovery . Pearl flew to Curacao to meet Zeeky ’s rescuers before bringing him home with her to California . When they first meet , she says the once scared pup ran flop to her without any fearfulness .
Now home with Pearl in California , Zeeky was fitted for prosthetics and is learning to take the air with them . And while he ’s still waiting for his 2nd prosthetic to be adjusted , Pearl says it does n’t hold on him from running around at lightning f number with his dog sib .
Despite the trauma he face betimes in his life , Pearl aver Zeeky is one of the happiest whelp you ’ll ever meet . From his infectious smile to his protective ( yet super fashionable ) jeans , he sure knows how to put a grin on anyone ’s face .
" He ’s just so loving . No matter who he play , he waggle his tail . He just require to get cuddle from everybody , which is top-notch endearing , " Pearl says . " He inspires me every sidereal day to be a sound person . "
